David W. Lindh (age 65) passed away on September 12, 2019 after a lengthy struggle with cancer.
David's passion was sailing and he loved to be on the ocean. Most of his spare time was spent circumnavigating the coast of Maine over many decades.
His career took him from serving on the Manchester police force, to owning his own insurance adjustment company, to special investigations with Nationwide and Geico insurance.
After retiring he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream and live on his 40 foot sailboat Varmlander. He was able to begin a sailing trip around the world as part of a flotilla hailing from Southwest Harbor, ME., and made it to the Galapagos Islands before returning home to battle his cancer.
He leaves behind his brother in law William Paris, his step son Patrick Sheehan with his daughter Evie, nieces Melissa Paris and Nicole Greco and nephew Chris Paris. He also leaves behind 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews as well as extended family members and multiple friends. He was predeceased by his sister Linda Paris, his beloved father Frank Lindh and mother Diana Lindh. A memorial service will take place at Bethany Covenant Church in Bedford on September 27 at 11:00 am.Funeral Home
