Auburn, NH-Sharon R. (Marcoux) Davis, 70, passed away peacefully at home in Auburn, NH on Saturday, March 28, 2020, after a lengthy illness with Alzheimer's disease surrounded by her loved ones.
Sharon was born in Hampstead, NY on March 9, 1950, to Louis J. Marcoux and Irene (Boily) Marcoux. Being a part of a military family, Sharon lived in many places with her parents, older sister Sandra, and younger brother Gregory within the United States including Alaska, California, Montana, Maine, and New Hampshire, as well as several years in France.
On October 25, 1974, Sharon Married Wayne P. Davis of Manchester, NH. They eventually moved to Auburn, NH and started a family. On October 28, 1980, they welcomed a daughter, Holly.
Sharon was a loving and dedicated stay at home mom for many years. Once she returned to work, she was a teller and loan officer at Northeast Credit Union in Manchester, NH. She was well known there by many.
After retiring, Sharon and Wayne enjoyed traveling together, visiting places such as Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia, and Alaska. Sharon also had many hobbies. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, making greeting cards, painting, and creating beautiful scrapbooks for her loved ones.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Wayne Davis, her daughter, Holly Conroy and husband Kenneth Conroy of New Boston, NH, and their sons Sean and Aaron, her brother Gregory Marcoux and his wife Annette of Manchester, NH, as well as many nieces and nephews. Sharon is predeceased by her parents Louis J. and Irene Marcoux, as well as her sister Sandra Marcoux.
A private family service will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home on Thursday, April 2nd.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside service on Saturday, April 18th at Long Meadow Cemetery in Auburn, NH at 11:00. A gathering will be held at the Davis’ home at 44 Lilak Drive in Auburn, NH immediately following the service.
